Framework stage 01 of 06

Go-to-market blueprinting

The first stage of the Drakopoulos Ventures engagement framework.

Blueprinting fixes four things in writing before any platform is bought or any campaign runs: who the customer is, how the company is positioned against the alternatives, which channels carry that position, and in what order they are switched on. It is the output of the discovery audit that opens every engagement.

The stage carries more weight in 2026 than it did. Australian venture funding reached about A$3.5 billion across the first half while the count of sub-A$5 million rounds fell to 31 in the June quarter, the lowest since 2020, and roughly 70 per cent of that quarter's cash went to two companies. In a market shaped like that, the blueprint is the document that shows an investor how a company crosses from a seed round to a Series A. It also has to survive a search environment where 68 per cent of US Google searches ended without a click in early 2026, and where Pew found click-through roughly halving when an AI Overview is present.
